“Inspired by the spectral palette of Brilliant gems and precious metals, creating jewelry is as exciting for me now as when I began in 1976.”

The Jewelers Circular Keystone magazine features Bay Area Designers in the January 1986 issue.

After spending several years as an art teacher, Ann Marie took off for California in 1973, and found her heart in San Francisco. As an apprentice for Lasnier Jewelers in Ghiardelli Square, she excelled as a designer, honing her skills in lost wax casting. There she was introduced to exceptional Bay Area gem cutters and trade jewelers. She learned to manage the store, work with clients, and create jewelry inspired by the many gemstones available to her.

Ann Marie created her wholesale line, Line of Gold, in 1979 and by 1985, she was accepted into the Jewelers’ of America Show in NYC where she was named Designer of the Year.

In 1996, Ann Marie decided to launch her retail store in Healdsburg. Ann Marie Fine Jewelry remained on Matheson Street for over 19 years. In 2016, Ann Marie closed that location. She continues to create beautiful, playful pieces in her studio open by appointment only.
